I’ve made some pretty awful banana bread—too wet, too dry, or just plain weird—until I found The Best Banana Bread by the Salty Marshmallow! I get a perfectly balanced loaf that’s consistent every time.
You can also use it to make excellent banana muffins, and like my favourite apple cake recipe, this one makes a great snack, breakfast, and dessert.

The only modification I’ve made to this recipe is adding 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg in with the cinnamon. Here are some other ways I’ve baked it as well.
Alternatives
Banana Bread Muffins
Follow the same directions as above, pour the batter into a greased muffin tin and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Mini Banana Bread Loaves
Pour the batter into a greased, 6-mini-loaf pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
Fold 1 cup of semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips into the batter before pouring into the pan or tin.
Banana Bread with Walnuts
Fold 1 cup of walnuts into the batter before pouring into the pan or tin.
